Since our inception in 1967 as a religious, on-campus student society, our journey has been marked by growth and purpose. Over the years, we’ve evolved from a small presence at the University of Zululand to becoming a nationwide force, extending our reach across all provinces in South Africa. We’ve also forged meaningful connections beyond our borders, with a presence in Eswatini, Lesotho, and Botswana.

Our humble beginnings were rooted in a mission to provide essential spiritual support to Seventh-day Adventist students studying in non-Adventist institutions. As we celebrated our 50th SDASA Anniversary in 2017, we recognised the need for expansion, not only in terms of our reach but also our services. This milestone marked the inception of our innovative approach, dividing our initiatives into four distinct clusters: Student, Professionals, Business, and Think Tank.

 We remain committed to our core values, and this evolution will enable us to better serve our community and fulfill our mission in a rapidly changing world.
